Finding Bonnie

On Tuesday, I wrote that I needed a ruler to help me make HSTs from strips. After trying two different rulers that I had, I KNEW that I needed the Bonnie Hunter “Essential Triangle Tool”.

BUT I COULDN’T FIND IT…..ANYWHERE!!!

After searching through my ruler storage accordion folder…..

….I looked through every drawer in the studio, then tried to remember if I might have carried it to a retreat in one of my unfinished projects.

First, I checked the box containing fabrics and blocks using hand-dyed fabric offcuts from my friend, Anita….

OOOO…those look fun. Maybe I need to add it back to my To-Do list.

Next, I checked out the unfinished top using marbled fabrics that I dyed MANY years ago….

Yep….something else to add to my “GET IT FINISHED” list, but NO RULER!!

At this point, I am totally exasperated and decide to get onto Amazon and order it again.

And LOOK…..

Even Amazon knows that I purchased it before!!

So, I ordered it again. After all, it will be here tomorrow.

As I was putting up the ruler container, I decided to give it one more look.

AND…..

YOU GUESSED IT…… I found it at the bottom of one of the sleeves!!

So….CANCEL the Amazon order and make a mental note of where it is for next time!!

Bottom Line…..I am now ready to start making HST’s for my first scrap quilt!!
