I was using Bonnie Hunter’s Essential Triangle Tool when I ran into a common cutting problem: the ruler kept slipping.
The back has no rough areas to grip the fabric, so I pulled out my Invisigrip….
I cut a triangle to fit a large portion of the back of the ruler …
…peeled the film off of the backing…..
and stuck it onto the back of the ruler….
What a difference! The ruler stayed in place as I cut, and I could focus on making the cut instead of holding the ruler still.
I also like that I can remove it easily if I decide I don’t want it on the ruler later.
If your ruler likes to wander while you cut, this might be a handy little fix to try.
