My quilt “I Remember” is home!
I was excited to receive this notification….

…and even more excited to carefully open the package and catch a glimpse….

I made this quilt as a tribute to my father’s time in World War II, and it became part of the 2024 “Poppy” Challenge from Cherrywood Fabrics.
Since November 2024, it has traveled to quilt shows around the country. The last time I saw it in person was at AQS in Paducah in 2025.
Its final show was the Festival of Quilts in Birmingham, England. I never imagined that this tribute to my father would travel so far or be seen by so many people.
It came with a Finalist ribbon and a quilt “Passport”…

It was such fun to see all of the places it had been since I last saw it…

Opening the package and seeing “I Remember” again was a special moment. I’m grateful it had such a wonderful journey, and I’m thrilled to have it back home.
