I recently needed to put a sleeve on my “More Milkweed Please” quilt.
I don’t know about you but I HATE attaching sleeves so I was super happy when this one was finished…..

Then Michael held it up for me and this is what I saw…..

ARRGGGGHHHH!!! I put it on the wrong side!!!
So I took it off and started over. This is better…..

…..but oh so frustrating!!
PLEASE tell me that you have done this too!!!

Thank you…….
I think I prefer the mistake orientation when I’m comparing the two. It’s a beautiful pice of art.
My husband said the same thing Kathryn!!
I have absolutely done this and one of the two times I did, I had sewn it into the binding. Now I only put sleeves on by hand. So painful to do that work only to have to do it again!
And work that I don’t like to do in the first place!! ARGH!!!
I would have left it, taking it as a sign that it was always meant to hang that way. (Perfectionism is too much work.)
Yes – on the bottom, so the quilt would hang upside down. Normally not a huge problem, but this was a pictorial quilt – oops! Nice to know it happens to other quilters, too.
At least mine was small!!
