Isn’t that like the blind leading the blind?
I agree that many skills are trial and error–you learn what works and what doesn’t work by trying. But there is a lot to be said for finding a teacher, or at least a group of people (like a guild) who might know a thing or two.
I absolutely agree Andrea. I am thinking about the times that I have tried something entirely new….like the thread lace that I used for the grass on Sadie. I had NOT idea what to do so it was just a big experiment!
