My work stays fairly busy thru July, so the month of August is when my “creative time” gets cranked up. I always look forward to it!!
Last year I set myself a challenge to spend 125 hours in a creative pursuit during the month of August.
That meant FOUR hours per day!!!
I found that it was a good challenge and I just barely accomplished it last year.
Can I do it again this year????
Yes, the challenge is on again!!
The “rules” of the challenge are that any thing related to a creative endeavor counts, including…..
- Studio Time
- Blog Writing Time
- Frances Quilts Admin
- Quilt Guild volunteer work
- Learning new software or computer techniques
- Drawing while watching TV at night
- Scrolling …..as long as it is creativity related (ie….no comedians or car crashes)
- Playing with Watercolors
I will update you during the month so you can keep me honest!!
