As with last year, I set myself a challenge to spend 125 hours doing creative things in the month of August.
Last year was a tight finish, but I did manage to get 126.5 hours in. I spent time quilting, doing embroidery, needlepoint, and even some drawing using Procreate.
THIS YEAR….
I THINK that I did at least 125 hours, but honestly, I didn’t have time to do the record keeping to prove that I did it!!
This was a much more hectic August, with tons of time spent on the computer…..working on my quilt guild website….

…. working on my husband’s website…..

….writing a pattern for the quilt that I discussed in the “Conquer Your Fabric Scraps” Summit…..

….and a multitude of other tasks!!
And then there was the Summit itself. It was a fun 4 days but much time was spent answering questions, Facebook comments and emails (ALL FUN THINGS)
I did manage to quilt the Windmill Chain quilt and also got a long way with my 2.5-inch scrap quilt.
Finally, I found time to do a color wash using acrylic paints…..

Now I just need to find something to paint on top of it!!
SO WHAT IS THE BOTTOM LINE!!!
It was a FANTASTIC month of creativity and I can’t wait to do it again in 2025!!
