Yesterday, we looked at a number of quilts from the 50th Anniversary Exhibition at the Houston Quilt Show.
As I mentioned there was one exhibit that was so exciting, but unfortunately, it was hard to see/photograph the quilts.
Instead, I did a video walk-thru…..

Hi Frances,
The few of those hanging quilts that were facing the front door of the GRB could be viewed a bit closer from the second floor. That upstairs hallway has windows facing the festival floor, and there was a great view of the hanging display.
I was pleased to meet you for a short conversation while you were taking photos during the festival. I have enjoyed your blogs of the festival. You noticed so many details that I rushed past.
The festival lit a fire under me to complete some UFOs. I met Paula Nadelstern at her display, and that inspired me to pull out the UFO from her class that I took at the festival – oh so many years ago. I’m laying out the kaleidoscope pieces in my own composition and measuring for background pieces in black. I suppose I should take a break and send out those Christmas cards….
Wishing you a wonderful holiday season!
I loved meeting you as well Leslie!!
I love coming home from the festival and being so enthused to be in my studio!! I would love to see your quilt!!!
