This past week we had many of our windows replaced….including the ones in the studio.
You know what that means…..
THINGS HAVE TO BE MOVED!!
This is the shelf in question…..

….and the ironing board and had to be dismantled and moved too!
After a few minutes of walking between the studio and the attached bathroom, this was the view…..

YIKES….all of that came off of ONE shelf?
IU covered up my machines, unplugged everything, and moved the drawer system by my main machine!!

It took no time for the windows to be replaced, but everything has to stay this way until the painter comes on Wednesday!!
It will certainly be nice to have everything back in place and my room completely available!!
But one good thing came out of it. I found a missing piece of fabric that had dropped behind the others…..

I love that you perceived a silver lining. (That’s an awful lot of work to find one piece of fabric.)
True. But more than anything, it reminded me that I need to do a good clean-out sometime soon!!
It is always a huge job to move items out of a sewing room. I always look at it as a way to rediscover some of my fabrics and projects.
Good luck getting it all back when the painting is done.
Thanks Karen.
It showed me that I need to set some time aside to clean out a lot of the fabric!!
