I don’t know about you, but I LOVE when quilts make an unexpected appearance on TV shows.
I mentioned this before, but Michael and I love watching British Cozy Mysteries. Our latest obsession is “Father Brown”, a character based on books by G.K. Chesterton.
Father Brown is played by Mark Williams, well known for his role as Mr. Weasley in the Harry Potter series.
The death count in their village is astoundingly high….it is a wonder that there is anyone left to attend Mass at the Father’s church.
While watching an episode recently, I yelled “QUILT”, and Michael quickly grabbed the remote and paused so that I could take photos. He is WELL trained!

Look at the fun Log Cabin quilt displayed on the table!!
I ALSO like the feather design on the stair newel post….

It would make an outstanding border design!

In “As Time Goes By” there is a beautiful pinwheel on their bed. I loved so much that I made one for us!
That is hilarious Nonie…. I used a picture by their front door (in later episodes) as the idea for a challenge quilt many years ago. The picture was a table with a vase of flowers on it. The challenge was a “blue” challenge, and I called it “As Blue Goes By”.
Do you have a pic? Would love to see it!
No sure how to post pic of my quilt here
