Last week, I was privileged to speak to the Lake Oconee Quilt Guild in Eatonton, Georgia…..

They are a wonderful group of quilters, many of whom I have known for years!!

They meet in a Lutheran church and I have shown this stained glass window more than once on this blog….
They are a super active group, always wanting to learn something new. On the day of my talk, they had an afternoon workshop about making quilted postcards. It was fun to see all of the embellishments and bits and pieces that they had brought to play with.

It is just SO beautiful!
Like most groups, they have a monthly raffle…..

……and a swap table…..

We all know that one quilter’s trash is another quilter’s treasure!!
They always display their Show-And-Tell on the seats prior to the meeting. It is fun to have plenty of time to view the quilts before “S-N-T” gets started.

It was incredibly satisfying to have a group of quilters swarm the stage after my talk, wanting to have a close-up look at the quilts I showed!!

Thank you to the Lake Oconee Quilt Guild for making me feel so welcome!!

One of my favorite things about quilting is motivating others and helping them in their quilting journey. As part of this endeavor, I LOVE to present programs and workshops to groups and guilds around the world. All of my programs work well with Zoom meetings, and I would love to speak to your group.
