I had a friend in the guild who would always give us sweet gifts at Christmas. One time it was a marvelous pin cushion that I still use, one year it was a fabric-covered journal, and one year it was this sweet angel…..

She was so cute that she never made it out of the studio and onto the Christmas tree. Instead, she became my “Quilting Angel”!!

Nancy passed away about 6 years ago and I love that I have a little part of her still in my studio…..especially when I am paper piecing…..it was her specialty!!!

Michael and I lived in Canberra Australia for 6 years back in the 1980’s and we came to love some of the Aboriginal Art that we found.

I loved this pillow cover from China but didn’t want to actually sit on it so it became part of my Studio Art!!!
