One of our guild members, Mary Ellen, has recently been having fun playing with all of the stitches on her sewing machine and the results have been phenomenal.
At our November meeting, Mary Ellen showed this wonderful piece during our “Show and Tell” time……
She has done an amazing job trying out different stitches……
….and couching down threads of all types…..
I particularly like the work that she has done with this funky “ladder” stitch….
BUT, the most amazing thing about this quilt is that she chose to give it to ME. She said that I had liked it so much that I really needed to own it!!!!
I have hung it in my office so that I can enjoy it at all times during the day.
