Cooking with a many tentacle(d) thing……

I AM STILL IN TEXAS BUT WROTE THIS POST BEFORE I LEFT……

I looked into our latest Garden Box and was startled to see this…..

I had no idea what it was and had to go back to the box list to find out.  It is a Garlic Scape…..apparently the tops of the garlic pods.

As I read, I found out that it had a mild garlic flavor and was great stir-fried…..so that is what we did.

We added pork, carrots and Bok Choy to the mix and ended up with a wonderful meal……
