I have taken photos of “Bird of Paradise” flowers from all over the world, and I finally realized why I like them so much…
IT’S THE COLORS!!!
Wouldn’t an orange/yellow/purple quilt be wonderful??
AND…..as I just walked past my deck, I realized that I have the same colors out for Halloween…..
Maybe it’s a sign!!
What would you make with these colors??

These really remind me of the Bonnie Hunter 2023 mystery quilt pattern ‘Chilhowie”. The completed quilts some of my guild colleagues made were stunning.
I went back and looked at her quilt and you are right, the colors are similar. I haven’t ever done one of her mystery quilts. The timing just does not work for me!!
Ha! I would make the Eudaemonia “Repair” pattern because the shapes in it remind me of the Bird of Paradise flower!
I looked up the pattern and it is very reminiscent of the flower. Now I am thinking about adding it to my never ending “to-do” list!!
