Huh. How many times do I think I have a plan all figured out, and when I sit down to do it, it doesn’t work! There is something to just working impulsively. However, unless you specifically mean to work with fabric you already have on hand, starting a new quilt project often means you have to buy new fabric, which requires thought. That’s why so many people in the fabric store seem to be wandering about in a daze . . .
All true Andrea. There is a certain amount of planning that you have to do, but it is sure easy to get bogged down in the planning!!
