I LOVE Italian tile and once made this quilt based on a photo from a cathedral in Rome…..

I have this booklet that highlights geometric designs from Churches and Cathedrals….

Sadly, it is now out of print!!
BUT, this photo caught my eye….

Wouldn’t it be fun to make a circular quilt using the perspective changes in that center “triangle” shape?
Yet another item to add to my “Someday” list!!
What is on your “Someday/Maybe” list??

Oh yes, so many photos from San Marcos in Venice, the Pantheon in Rome and other geometric tile wonders!
