The other day, I was looking thru a book that I have had for many years. It is called “Geometric Patterns From Churches & Cathedrals”, and is out of print now.
BUT….one of the pages had a photos of this church window….
This design was taken from that window….
Yes, there would be a bunch of Y-seams and some inset circles, but wouldn’t it make a fun quilt??
Especially in solid, brightly colored fabrics!!

I would appliqué the circles and tiny squares on top of the patchwork. Inspiration is everywhere!
I had the same thought about the circles–appliquéing them. Aby’s right–the little squares would be easier appliquéd as well.
