Visiting the stars of quilting!

When I arrived in Paducah, my first stop was the National Quilt Museum. I had 1.5-hours before they closed for the day, and I was determined to see as much as I could.

I was in heaven as soon as I opened the doors…..

Walking through the main gallery was a “star-studded” event as I recognized SO many names.

Have a look…..

“Celebration” by Gail Garber & Kris Vierra

….

“Tree of Life” by Jane Sassaman

….

“Flower Power” by Phillipa Naylor

….

“Restoring the Balance” by Alison Goss

“New Directions” by Judy Mathieson

Fire Dragon Rhapsody” by Ricky Tims

“Kettle Moraine Star” by Diane Gaudynski

“Escapade” by Libby Lehman

These are just a FEW of quilts that I enjoyed! I will be posting more about individual quilts in the next months.

Tomorrow we will have a look at the Victoria Findlay Wolf exhibit and on Friday I will take you on a video tour of the Caryl Bryer-Fallert Gentry exhibit.

STAY TUNED for TONS OF QUILTY GOODNESS!!!
