Last week I had the opportunity to speak to the quilters at the Heart of Georgia guild in Macon, Georgia.
They were a fun group…..

….and so engaging!!
My talk was about using photos in quilts…..

…. and I loved sharing what I have learned over the years!!
The real fun started when the group shared about their various projects, including their newest raffle quilt..

SUCH a fun and colorful quilt!!
Their next workshop is about Dresden plate blocks and, based on these two sample quilts…..

……I want to join and take it too!!
Show and Tell was wonderful, starting with some smaller quilts…..

…and moving to larger ones….

And, of course, there is always at least one Bonnie Hunter quilt shown……

They are preparing for a Miniature Quilt sale associated with their show, and ONE quilter presented all of these (plus another that I didn’t get a photo of)….

All in all, it was a fun morning, and I drove away encouraged by the creativity and friendliness of the Heart of Georgia guild!!
Thanks so much for letting me join you!!

One of my favorite things about quilting is motivating others and helping them in their quilting journey. As part of this endeavor, I LOVE to present programs and workshops to groups and guilds around the world. All of my programs work well with Zoom meetings, and I would love to speak to your group.
