Stacked Stone Border

Back in 2015, Michael and I spent 10 days trekking in the Himalayas. As we walked along, we passed many stacked stone monuments and I marveled at how they stayed in place.

At our highest point, I made a small one for myself…..

…including a few daisy-esque flowers that were in the field.

Now, why am I talking about the Himalayas on Free-Motion Friday?

That’s because today’s border is called “STACKED STONES” and I thought about this sweet memory as I quilted.

Check it out…..

This design will definitely go into my “use often” folder!!

21 Teachers, Endless Quilting Inspiration

If you’ve ever wanted to feel more confident with free-motion quilting, this is an event you won’t want to miss!

The ONLINE Free-Motion Quilting Summit brings together 21 quilting teachers, each sharing their own techniques, ideas, designs, and approaches to free-motion quilting.

And just look at this amazing group of teachers!

One of the things I love about an event like this is that there is never just one way to quilt a quilt. Each teacher brings something different to the table, which means you can pick up new ideas, discover techniques you haven’t tried before, and find inspiration for your own quilting.

And I’m thrilled to be one of the 21 teachers!

This is my class….

I’ll show you how to quilt a square spiral using a ruler AND how to mark and quilt a circular spiral.

And the best part…..it’s ONLINE AND….

Register HERE

….and join me for 3 days of quilting inspiration and fun.
