Circle Grid Quilting

When I was first thinking about Grid Quilting, I attended a lecture from Sue Heinz of Kismet Quilting.

In her lecture, she introduced me to CIRCULAR GRID QUILTING!!!!……

WHAT!!!!

I have gnashed over the idea for the last 7 months and finally decided that it was time to face my fears….put on my big-girl panties…..and give it a try!!

GUESS WHAT????

It was easier than I EVER expected it to be.

My grids are getting wonky!!

This event has gone the way of the Dodo in the past 6 weeks, but it is time to re-visit some grid quilting!!

It was a super fun exercise and I am pleased with the results…..

Climbing the Stair-Step Grid

Today, I am showing the easiest grid EVER.

If you can count to TWO then you can accomplish this fun pattern.

And even though it is easy, it looks great!!

But before I could start this one, I had to do a little bit of prep work. Last time I had filled my first practice piece…..

….so it was time to make another one…..

That accomplished, it was time to start doing some Stair-Stepping…..and believe me, it is a lot easier than that Step-machine at the gym!!

That is not bad at all……

This pattern will definitely go into my “must use” list!!
