You have to love the amount of depth that you can get using a telephoto lens!!!

The Golden Hour is defined as the first hour after sunrise and the last hour before sunset. During this time, the daylight is redder and softer and it is the MOST wonderful time for photographs!!!
As I have walked in my neighborhood this past week I became enamored with this Ginkgo Tree during the Golden Hour……


It made my walks just that much more fun!!
Of course, this HAS to be my favorite “Golden Hour” photo…..

This Almost Wordless Wednesday harks back to our 2010 trip to Italy. On one of my sight-seeing days, I visited the amazing Duomo di Milano. As part of my “tour” I traversed the 250 steps upward and spent over an hour just enjoying the views of Milan but mostly the amazing architecture……

I know that Wednesday isn’t supposed to be about quilt inspiration, but sometimes it is hard to separate the two!!!

I found this little guy hanging around last night!! It is so much fun to see his underside!!

Today’s photo comes from my and Michael’s very first day in China. We were on our way to Dali and passed a local market. We spent about an hour there and enjoyed our introduction to the typical Chinese marketplace. Although these guys were bound for the executioner, I loved the photo that resulted…..
