Spring is a wonderful time….the Daffodils are blooming, the Hostas and ferns are starting to appear, the Azalea’s are turning pink and EVERYTHING else in Georgia is yellow!!! (if you click on the photo, you can see it better)
When the pine trees release their pollen, it covers all parts of life with a fine layer of yellow….even my poor cat has a yellowish tinge to his fur. Fortunately, it doesn’t last too long and we are due for a good rain in a few days so it will all soon be a memory…..until next year!!
ADDED ON WEDNESDAY…..I read in the paper this morning that yesterday’s pollen count was 2,970…. apparently 120 is considered high!!!!
Even though the pollen is painful, the Dogwood tree is gorgeous……
I hope that you are enjoying your Springtime!!!

Hi Frances,I think it's worse than ever this year! Our air conditioner is broken so that means my windows have been open. The kitchen table is covered in pollen. I am so grossed out by it all. Thankfully, I will get to close my windows today.Jennifer
I hope you'll have a good rain soon to wash the pollen away:)
A beautiful tree. That is some pollen count. Does it stick to the car?
Ah, and the rain came and washed it away! We're enjoying Spring so much this year after the long, long winter.
