My geese are flying straight now!!

Back in November, I posted about my Flying Geese having issues.

I was making them using the No-Waste, 4 at a time method and this is what was happening….

One side of the goose was simply too short!!

I presented this dilemma to the quilting world and many had good ideas for me to try. Marie made the suggestion that the inside squares be pulled in toward the center a bit. I asked a follow-up question and she even sent a diagram!!….

Quilter’s are the best!!!

Actually, when I looked at the WingClipper instructions from Deb Tucker, I saw that she said to “nudge” the fabric into the center…..

I decided to follow their instructions…..

And look what happened……

FOUR PERFECT FLYING GEESE!!!!!

  1. I use the tucker trimmer all the time and almost always have this issue. I never picked up on the “nudge”, but I sure will now!

I love to hear from my readers....please leave a comment
