Unexpected Inspiration

Last week I had the pleasure of speaking to the Pine Needles Quilt Guild in Big Canoe, Georgia.

It was so fun to meet these ladies and try to inspire them to enter their guild’s next challenge!!

BUT, as I was waiting at the guard station to get into the area, I noticed the truck in front of me…..

In particular, I focused on this……

I apologize for the quality of this photo. He started pulling away just as I started snapping!!!!

Wouldn’t it be fun to use that idea for a block pattern!!!

  1. What did we ever do before cell phones? Really, think if you had to remember to bring your camera with you so you could snap possible quilt inspirations (then send the film to the developer and wait for the pictures. . .)

    1. I know!!! Back in 2000 I said I would never use a digital camera. Then I tried one for a weekend softball tournament and never went back!! I love my DSLR but it is so heavy!!!
