Yup, I can see the old house boards as quilt strips, too, eventually a modern art piece.
That would be a fun modern quilt!!!
Suggestion for the derelict building: make a wall artwork in monochrome colours. Method is raw edged quilting fixing the fabric strips to a foundation with Steam-a-seam lite. Finish with quilting the strips. I’m getting excited for the project.
