Quilts and Other Stuff from Frances

Inspiration at the Library

The other day I went to our public library to drop off a quilt for an exhibition.

Now, maybe I just had quilts on my brain, but looking over the stairs to the floor below I saw this…….

What a GREAT design!!!

I wonder if you could straighten some of the curves so it would be piece-able but still have the same effect……

Maybe I need to spend some time in Electric Quilt and see if I can come up with a pattern!!

  1. What a great design! Hope you figure it out! It reminds me of Crossed Canoes and Double Wedding Ring, maybe it could be done in EPP or just by hand. Hotels often have wonderful geometric designs in carpet, too. On a recent trip to the UK I took several photos of carpets in different hotels.
