Another W-I-P gone!!

I have been working hard this summer to clean out some of the unfinished projects in my studio. This one I didn’t finish myself, but instead I passed it along to another quilter!!

The project in question is this quilting challenge from Angela Walters

I normally LOVE her designs and thoroughly enjoy learning the new quilting patterns, but this one simply didn’t do it for me!!

I enjoyed learning these swirly designs…..

….and seeing how they can fit into various shapes.

….but these “Serpentine lines” drive me crazy…..

I have a very hard time keeping them even without them “flattening” too much!!

Bottom line, this project has been on my to-do list for two years and I had absolutely no motivation to complete it.

SO……at my last guild meeting, I offered it to anyone who wanted to learn more about free motion quilting and I was THRILLED when Emma said that she wanted it!

I can’t wait to see what she does with it!!
