WHY I LIKE IT

If you do paper piecing, this ruler makes the whole process so much easier.

Instead of measuring ¼ inch every time I need to trim a seam allowance, I simply fold the paper back, place the ruler so the raised lip catches against the fold, and trim.

No measuring. No guessing. The ¼-inch seam allowance is just there.

I also like that it’s a small, simple tool that does one job really well. Once you’ve used one for paper piecing, it’s hard to imagine going back to an ordinary ruler.

Definitely one of those “why didn’t someone think of this sooner?” tools.
