Quilters Rule 12″ Square Ruler
My go-to ruler for squaring larger blocks.
The 12½-inch square gives you plenty of room for trimming and squaring blocks while making it easy to check that everything is actually square before you move on.
Especially useful for those larger quilt blocks.
WHY I LIKE IT
I use a square ruler whenever I want to make sure a block really is square — not just close to square. The 12½-inch size is large enough for many common quilt blocks and makes trimming much easier than trying to do the same job with a long rectangular ruler.
I also like the Quilter’s Rule markings because they are molded into the ruler rather than printed on the surface, so they hold up to lots of use.
A very useful ruler to have beside your 6 × 24.
