Half way through!!!

This week we are moving quickly….. adding Block #5 and Block #6 to our “Twelve Ways to Quilt a Sawtooth Star”!!

We are playing in the sunshine for Block 5…..

And, Block 6 is all about “wishing”….Wishbone quilting that is!!!

The video is a bit longer because we are doubling the quilting, but I hope you will enjoy it and practice along with me, whether in thread or in lead!!

I keep coming up with new ideas and may have to make ANOTHER quilt just to use them all!!

Today we are back to working with straight lines and block three is a challenge to quilt in one pass….with NO thread breaks.

……actually, I had one thread break but that was because I MESSED UP…..oh well!!

Last week was all straight lines and this week we switch over to a BUNCH of curvy ones!!

TWELVE WAYS TO QUILT A SAWTOOTH STAR

This is week one of 12 where I will demonstrate different ways to quilt a Sawtooth Star Block.

Many of you have already used the free pattern to make your quilt top. The pattern is available on the “Free Patterns” tab above.

Before we get started, please watch this introduction video. It will give you some ideas for quilting these designs as well as other ways that you can be involved in the challenge without actually quilting…..
