At the Atlanta Sewing and Quilting Expo, there was a fun exhibition of quilts inspired by the KONA color of the year from 2024…. JULEP!!

This challenge was done in the Bloomington Normal Modern Quilt Guild
I loved this color and equally enjoyed the quilts that it inspired…..

In this quilt, I love the different styles of quilting that she used….from Big Sttich hand quilting to tiny machine quilted lines!

This design is PIECED, and not very big. I imagine it was quite the challenge!!

WOW…. I think these quilters did the color PROUD!!
We will finish out these Expo quilts next week, and then it will be time for AQS – PADUCAH!!
