We were in Australia in 2008 also and spent a few days in Cairns. Lovely sun days!
Happily, we got to live there for almost 6 years!! I never made it to Cairns although some of Michael’s research was in that area.
It is a gorgeous place to sail. We had planned to be there last year with our US family. Well you know how that went. Hopefully we can make those plans again some time soon.
I sure hope that you get to go this year!! We spent 10 days on a sailboat with some friends from Canberra and it was so relaxing and fun!!!
