As we have traveled around the world, I have been enamored with the many murals that we have seen with my favorites coming from Bogota, Colombia…..
….especially this quilty one….

The murals remind me of the beautiful molas that are made in Guatemala and other countries in South America, reverse appliqué pieces that often end up in women’s blouses.
I agree. I visited one museum that displayed some amazing Molas. And, we brought one home with us too….NOT from the museum!!
that last one would hurt my eyes to work on let alone look at. Have you been to Toppenish, WA and seen thier murals yet? History in the pictures.
