I had so much fun quilting the Stair-Step Scrap quilt…..

I began by quilting straight lines starting with the stair-steps and echoing out to the edges of the quilt.
Then I quilted echoing curvy lines in the center between the stair-steps.
Finally, I pulled out a nested oval ruler that I had never used and quilted ovals in the border.
See the entire quilt finished in 10 minutes…..

Obviously, none of the quilting showed greatly but I am happy with the overall textures that were created….

Next week on Free-Motion-Friday, we are going to tackle one of the issues that most machine quilters deal with…..
HOW DO I START AND STOP?
