I’m trying to Grow!
Grow…in my craft of sewing…I will often take a class to learn something I did not already know. Last summer, a class on wool embroidery by Tonye Phillips who teaches Sue Spargo techniques using her patterns. (She has Sue’s permission). The use of needle & thread with my hands has been fun and caused me to appreciate small textural touches.
That is cool Christie! I really want something to do by hand but I just cant figure out what! I haven’t excelled at applique and wool work is boring to me. I am enjoying the Sashiko that I bought last year, but am not sure what I will do with it when I am finished. That thought makes it hard for me to be motivated!!
