Okay, I Lied

On Friday, I said that we would be looking at more quilts from IQF today, but, sometimes a mother’s pride gets in the way!!!

Our son, Brian, always loved music. Over his 18 years in our home, he learned to play piano, trumpet, drums, and various string instruments. There was ALWAYS some kind of music coming from his bedroom down the hall!!

Today, he is a Music and Sound Designer in the gaming industry.

Georgia Public Broadcasting recently released this video about his career…..

Needless to say, Michael and I are so proud of him and all of his accomplishments.

As I listened to his daily plan, which included time for development, connection with others, and time for specific creativity, I realized I could learn a lot from him!!

Well done my son…..

And thank you, my readers, for indulging a Mom’s moment!!

Come back on Tuesday. There will be more quilts….

I PROMISE!!!

BEST Quilt Hanger EVER!!

Like many of you, I have quilts hanging in various places throughout my home, and (also like many of you), I move them around regularly!!

This can cause a problem because they are all different sizes and shapes, and finding a way to hang them was a PAIN!!

Then I found the Hang It Dang IT…..

It doesn’t look like much, but it is MAGICAL!!

Let me show you…..

I love how easy it is to use and that I can switch between quilts in a jiffy!!

Click below to purchase a “Hang It Dang It” from Amazon…..

35 – 63 inch Hang It Dang It

I hope you try it and love it as much as I do!!

A clue to what is truly on my mind!

I present a program for guilds called…..

This talk makes it VERY clear that my mind is almost ALWAYS focused on quilts or quilt designs.

So, when I saw this advertisement for “Fabric Storage Bins”……

…..my FIRST and FOREMOST thought was that I was going to find a new way to store my fabric!!

I was sorely disappointed when I realized that the word “fabric” was just a description of the bins!!

Do these sorts of things happen to you too?

PLEASE tell me that I am not the only one!!

One of my favorite things about quilting is motivating others and helping them in their quilting journey. As part of this endeavor, I LOVE to present programs and workshops to groups and guilds around the world. All of my programs work well with Zoom meetings, and I would love to speak to your group.
