Last week, I told you about the Conquer Your Fabric Scraps Summit, which kicks off on August 15.
As more details come out, this event just keeps getting better and better – you won’t want to miss it!
The Conquer Your Fabric Scraps Summit was designed to help quilters take control of their fabric scraps.
The Summit deep dives into guiding you to create a workable plan of action for your scraps. I’m talking about:
Building a collection of scrap-friendly patterns, projects, and techniques
Learning ways to organize and manage your fabric scraps
Eliminating obstacles that may be getting in your way of using scraps
Increasing your confidence with mixing colors and fabrics
Join 21 quilting teachers from August 15 -18 and get motivated and excited about organizing and using your fabric scraps.
I’m thrilled to tell you I’ll be teaching a class called “Stop Thinking, Start Scrapping”. It will feature tips and techniques that will help you actually FINISH the scrap quilts that you want to make!!
I can’t wait for you to hear from all the amazing teachers being featured and learn the best tips, techniques, and patterns to triumph over scrap overwhelm. It’s going to be sooo good!
Over the years I have posted lots of photos of hotel hallways as inspirations for quilting projects. At this stage, I can’t remember when or where this photo was taken….
…..but I love the angles and shapes that are formed.
NOW, in my “SUMMER OF THE SCRAP” mode, I looked at this photo again and wondered what it would look like with scrap strips!!
THAT might be fun to play with and heaven knows, I have plenty of strips to play with!!!
